BlackBerry 10: Right For You?

Running a business intelligently means making intelligent decisions based on business needs, not personal prejudice. BlackBerry (née Research In Motion)'s largest impediment to recovery is the tendency among humans to resort to prejudice.

BlackBerry 10 and the Z10 and Q10 will be widely available from U.S. carriers. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile USA, and Verizon Wireless have all committed to selling the devices when they are ready. Pricing will be reasonable at about $149 and $199 for the Q10

With BlackBerry 10 devices wending their way into the hands of patient fans, there's been some uncertainty as to just what service plans customers need.

Reviews of the BlackBerry 10 were generally reverent. Most reviewers seemed to want to like it and kind of, sort of, did. Walt Mossberg at the Wall Street Journal said the hardware was "decent" and the user interface "most likely and generally straightforward to use".

At an event in New York City, BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins, not only announced the much-delayed BlackBerry 10, the new phone software the company has been working on for the past two years, but that RIM would now officially be called BlackBerry.
